چکیده
Psoriasis is linked to systemic inflammation and cardiovascular comorbidities, but studies of the underlying cellular mechanisms are lacking. The NLRP3 inflammasome genetically associated with psoriasis, its activation increasingly disease. In this study, we show that patients psoriasis exhibited higher plasma levels inflammasome-generated IL-1? IL-18, without any correlation skin lesion severity. Increased constitutive expression sensors NLRP3, NLRP1, AIM2 was found in peripheral blood cells also those mild disease, accompanied by an increased caspase-1 reactivity myeloid subsets. TNF-? activate selectively requirement for a priming signal. signal through TNFR?caspase-8?caspase-1 alternative pathway, which proceeds independently pyroptosis. Patients who received anti-TNF therapy had normalized IL-18 as well reactivity. This contrast treated methotrexate persistent, Thus, TNF-?–mediated inflammasomes may contribute inflammation. Anti-TNF function, suggesting mechanism risk?reducing effect.

Psoriasis: A Disease of Systemic Inflammation with Comorbidities
The majority of the current data about psoriasis is about immune system elements and role of inflammation in the pathogenesis. The development of psoriasis is associated with genetic predisposition which has a basis of T cell activation secondary to dermal inflammation with abnormal keratinocyte proliferation. Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interferon gama (IFN-γ), and interleukin (IL)-8 ...
متن کاملStaphylococcus Aureus Carriage in Patients with Psoriasis
Background: The aggravating role of Staphylococcus aureus is well known in atopic dermatitis but has not yet been proven in psoriasis. The role of Staphylococcus aureus superantigens is emphasized in the initiation, maintenance and complications of psoriasis. We investigated the frequency of nasal, axillary, and perineal carriage of Staphylococcus aureus (SA) in patients with psoriasis and its ...

Purpose The aim of this study was to determine the association between nucleotide-binding and oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptors (NLRs) family, pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome-induced inflammation and disease severity in diabetic retinopathy (DR). Methods Blood samples were collected from 64 patients with diabetes (DR, 43; without DR, 21) and 25 healthy controls. The p...

Background and purpose: Psoriasis is an inflammatory disease with skin and joint manifestations. This disease can be associated with ocular complications and reduce vision and quality of life. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and type of ocular involvement in patients with psoriasis to prevent unwanted complications by identifying the disease at the right time. Materials a...

Onychomycosis is a nail infection caused by dermatophyte and non-dermatophyte molds and yeasts. The nail involvement is a feature of psoriasis, although skin manifestations are the most principal findings in psoriasis. Onychomycosis and psoriasis are both common disorders in communities. It is possible that in some patients these two diseases are present at the same time. A review was performed...
